Neubrutalist Store
Website design for an online store, in a gen z graphic design style.
Neubrutalist Store is a website design project by the ProntX design team for an online store. The brief was to create an interface that feels modern and is easy to use, for an audience in the ecommerce space.
What we designed
The screens were designed for desktop and responsive web, with layouts that adapt cleanly to tablet and mobile.
- Clear product pages with strong imagery
- A short, low-friction checkout path
- Trust cues such as delivery, returns and secure payment
- Product discovery and filtering
Design direction
The visual language follows the gen z graphic design trend: a style popular with the younger generation, often bold and experimental.
It also draws on vibrant fluorescent colours, text only hero images, broken grid and asymmetrical layouts, pixel displays and dot graphics, handmade illustrations and neubrutalism.
Platform
Website, designed in Figma with reusable components so the design can move into development without rework.
